Gunsan Ca Hotel

The location was great, the staff were friendly, and the place was clean. The price was affordable too!

The location makes it easy to find things to see and places to eat nearby, and the value for money is good. Just keep in mind it's a motel, not a hotel. The parking lot is small.

We felt safe walking around the neighborhood, and there were lovely cafes and good restaurants within walking distance, along with many attractions nearby. Our room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we felt well looked after. We loved staying in Gunsan and will definitely be back in two years. Thank you!

The building stands out as fairly tall compared with its surroundings, and from our room on the sixth floor the city view was quite good. We stayed in Family A, meant for three people with a maximum of four. There were one double bed and two singles, plenty of room for shoes, and lots of space overall. The blankets were clean. I slept well on the comfortable bed, though one companion had back pain, so comfort may depend on the person. The floor felt a bit sticky, and another companion thought the room wasn't very clean and the bathroom smelled musty. I'm not sensitive to smells, so it didn't bother me. We booked while looking for somewhere new in Gunsan and chose this place because it had three beds. I had assumed the whole building was a hotel, but the first floor is a gym and the hotel starts on the third floor. Check-in is at 5:00 PM and checkout at 12:00 PM. That late check-in meant we had to finish everything before returning. When I arrived around 8:00 AM, the front desk was dark, and the place felt more like a motel. Parking was full, but signs listed nearby free parking areas and prices. The room accommodated three, with an extra charge if you went over the maximum. As you'd expect at a tourist hotel, they suggested nearby restaurants and breakfast places; we went with Hanilok. There was only one outlet, next to the TV, so I couldn't charge my phone while lying in bed. The room had a hairdryer, coffee pot, fan, three Maxim Mocha Gold coffee mixes, towels, and a robe. I'd forgotten my pajamas, and the robe made it easier to sleep comfortably. The mini-fridge under the TV had two bottles of water. Since there were three of us, I wondered why we got only two and drank sparingly. I thought the standing water meant the fridge wasn't working well, but it actually worked fine. The bathroom was very large and had body wash, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and toothpaste. We used the mini table and two chairs to eat bread we'd bought the day before, taking turns since we woke up at different times. One companion and I were satisfied and would stay again. The room's size makes it a good option for a family trip or a trip with friends, and I recommend it for a visit to Gunsan.
