Galmea First Hotel

I had a great time here and would book again and again. The rooms were in excellent condition and cleaned every day, with tea facilities and a good hair dryer. I stayed for two weeks for a task and had no issues. Service was very good, though the language barrier made communication tricky, so have an app ready to communicate in Korean. Don’t expect big smiles at reception; the friendliness was absent, but it didn’t bother me. The TVs had big screens, but Netflix was only in Korean, without English subtitles. The hotel is about 22 km from Seoul. We had great experiences taking Uber, local taxis, and public transport into the city. The train station and buses are within walking distance, with stores, coffee shops, and restaurants all around.

The rooms are quite spacious and clean. The shower, bathtub, and bathroom were all very clean, and the room had all the essentials, including a hair dryer, water kettle, and 🖥.

A good pick if you want a reasonably priced hotel right by the train station. Our rooms were clean, and useful shared spaces were available around the clock, including an office area and lounge. There were also massage chairs and laundry, at 4000won per load. I recommend it.

I spent a week here last year and had an excellent stay. The room smelled a little at first, but opening the window cleared it. The staff were so kind, and they gave me free Coke and iced canned coffee every day. Huge flat-screen TV, comfy bed, relaxing tub, and a spotless bathroom.
