Gwangju Cheomdan Abata Hotel

It was okay.

I was looking forward to eggs at breakfast, but the portable gas stove was broken, so I ended up putting them in my ramen. Breakfast is a simple Korean meal with soup, rice, a main dish, side dishes, yogurt, juice, and so on. Personally, I’d like simple options such as sliced bread, eggs, and cornflakes. The outdoor hot spring is amazing, though it’s on the 3rd floor and visible to people on floors above. I booked the Private Garden after seeing it, and the room itself was impeccably clean. There’s always outdoor parking available. The downside is the entertainment district noise, with music audible constantly unless you close the window. The mattress wasn’t great, but the bedding was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless too. I’d recommend the place for an overnight stay or business trip near GIST. The location is a bit inconvenient, but the interior is very clean and the staff are friendly, so I was very satisfied. I was meant to get a free drink coupon at check-in, but didn’t receive it then. Another male staff member sorted it out for me on checkout day.

It has the look of a motel, but it’s a hotel. The room had a separate living room and bedroom, two bathrooms, and a good view. It cost 100,000 won, and the staff were friendly.
