Gwangju Edition Hotel Gwangcheon Branch (Formerly Urban Life Hotel)

The bedding in the guest room was fairly clean and comfortable, and the fridge had two bottles of water. Breakfast was decent too. The lobby coffee used to feel more like something from a specialty coffee shop, but now it tastes like coffee from a vending machine, so I wouldn't bother with it.

It's an easy place to stay. Champildo is walkable, or just two bus stops away. U-Square and Shinsegae Department Store are nearby too, which is convenient.

I skipped the buffet breakfast because I was being cautious during the COVID-19 pandemic. The room had Wi-Fi but no bathtub, and the window looked almost straight at the wall of the building opposite, though that may depend on the room. What stood out most was the heavy cigarette smell right outside the elevator. I went out and came back, but it was still there. Maybe it was a ventilation problem or someone smoking in the hallway.

The room had a hair dryer and two bottles of water, and it was clean, as you'd expect from a business hotel. There was a bathtub, but no stopper, so I couldn't fill it. They provide breakfast, though I only ate a fried egg. The room felt a little small, and I suppose the price is high because it's near the station.
