Hotel The Hill

I stayed at Hotel the Hill for six nights. The room and bathroom had plenty of space, and the place was clean and quiet. The price was affordable, public transport was easy to reach, and there were eateries nearby. The owner was friendly too. I'd definitely come back.

Are the Google reviews manipulated? The ratings are so bad, lol. The remodeling is a mess: walls and wallpaper are peeling or discolored in lots of places. There were a few flies, but the bigger problem was all the cockroaches. I stayed two nights and three days. One came out on the first day, so I caught it, then another showed up the next day. I called to ask for a room change and was told to wait. They called back later, said they'd left the key in the elevator, and told me to go get it myself, lol. Setting aside that they left those cockroaches there, the service is really great. Even if it were free, the place is so unsanitary that I wouldn't stay here.

The room was roomy and clean, which mattered most to me. The price was affordable, and there’s a bus stop right outside. I usually really dislike staying in motels 🤣

It’s a fairly new, attractive hotel and I’d recommend it, especially once the new metro line is finished. A few things could use some attention, though it’s not a major issue. As is typical here, don’t expect much English to be spoken.
