The hotel was about a 15-minute walk from the cherry blossom marathon location, and it was kind of them to accept my race packages before I arrived. I didn’t look around the hotel much, but it seemed decent and had outdoor parking, which worked well for the cherry blossom run. It doesn’t seem new, but that wasn’t an issue.

The hotel is nice, and the nearby amusement park and golf course are handy if those are what you’re after. For anything else, you’ll need a car, since the location isn’t great. The pool is ridiculously small, the laundry facilities are OK, and breakfast isn’t worth buying. Construction nearby still isn’t finished, though most of the buildings are new and well kept.

The staff were helpful, and one night was OK for me. The mattress was much too soft, though, and I know there are better options nearby. I wouldn’t choose this place for a longer stay.

We picked this hotel because it was near the theater where we were seeing a play at night, and I wasn’t sure we’d be able to get public transportation that late. On the way back, we spotted a lot of things around the hotel and decided to explore the area the next day. There are plenty of attractions nearby. The hotel itself is not bad, and the pool in front was clean and a nice place to relax after walking around Gyeongju, though its position felt a little awkward. The mountain view was a bit too lush for my taste, but I can’t complain about nature.

Fair enough overall, and the room was clean, but I had electricity problems a couple of times. The gym was poor and badly planned. Guys, with a little money spent on basic bodyweight and cardio equipment, you could make it useful. The internet connection kept going in and out.
