Four Season Youth Hostel

The room was clean and the staff were lovely, but they don't serve breakfast or other food.

I stayed in May, paid 1500000won per night, and found this hotel nowhere near worth 150000won. The room was clean, but the bed was small and hard. The manager said the air conditioning was controlled centrally and couldn't be turned on. It was hot, with no way to adjust the temperature, so I had to leave the windows open all night to cool off, and the noise kept me awake. Even cheap jotels have air conditioning running all year. I don't recommend this place and never want to come back.

For what it costs, the beds are hard and there's no soundproofing. It feels like a converted hostel, not a hotel. Parking is limited, so you have to use the surrounding streets, and the front desk isn't friendly. You'll need to pay 30,000 won for a motel. I strongly recommend it.

The rooms are good for the price, and there's a convenience store across the street. The location is especially handy if you're going to Bulguksa Temple or Seokguram Grotto. Most other sights, including Bomun Tourist Complex, are within a 30-minute trip. That said, there aren't any other amenities. ^^
