It seemed like a married couple ran this friendly, good-value pension. The place was fairly clean and cozy, though the walk between the pickup bus stop and the pool was a bit long. It felt like a sweet, welcoming spot for an older couple. The distance to the pool was the one drawback, but things were otherwise neat and comfortable.

The owner was kind, and the first-floor terrace was nice and cool. The room had been cleaned well, and the shared pool was fairly close. I could feel scratches underfoot on the floor, though, and had to turn the air conditioner down quite a bit before the room cooled off.
