Hanwha Resort Gyeongju

We stayed on the Eton side. For the price, the hotel was okay: clean and functional, but dated and very basic. The room had AC, though it didn’t reach the bedrooms well. A fan would have helped with airflow. You can open the patio, but our window faced the main lobby entrance, so it was pretty loud. There was no nightstand or dresser, and the closet had no hangers or hooks. No front closets either, so we just had to leave our luggage on the floor. I was glad there was a cafe and convenience store right in the lobby. We didn’t get to try the restaurant. Parking was free, with both an outdoor lot and underground parking, and we never had trouble finding a space. We tried “Dad’s pizza” in the Damton building, but it was unpleasant and overpriced. The back garden behind the Damton building was nice. This hotel is popular with families with young kids because of the Pororo waterpark, which is open to the public and often has schoolchildren there too. You can hear children and music from the waterpark. If kids or the sound of young children bothers you, don’t book here. It’s a pretty basic hotel, but okay for what you get.
