The bedding had hair from previous guests, and I'm not sure the hanboks available to borrow are clean. I saw a sign asking people to return them after wearing, and it didn't look like they were washed between users. The pillows were quite hard and filled with beads. The bathroom and toilet entrances have low ceilings too. I'm only 5'8 and could hit my head going in if I wasn't careful. Inside, the ceiling seemed around 6'2-3, so taller people might struggle even to shower. The room stayed quite warm at night, despite the insulation not looking very good. It's a traditional style hotel where you sleep on the floor with bedding. If you're after a traditional Korean experience, you could consider it, but after staying here I'd rather choose a regular hotel.

I was there for just one night on a tour, but I'm glad we stayed. As someone from the UK, the traditional Hanok in Gyeongju was a completely new experience for me. You get a futon, pillow, and blanket, so if you're okay sleeping on the floor, it's peaceful and tranquil.
The whole village is breathtaking. Staying in a quaint, authentic Hanok was a fun experience, especially with the heated floor, as long as you don't mind sleeping on the floor.
The room was clean and well kept, and we had plenty of bottled water and towels. Staff were accommodating and helpful, and most historic sites are within walking distance. I booked the biggest room for two people, and there was plenty of space. Some other comments complain that the futon is thin or that there's no furniture to sit on, but people should have researched that better. Lol. It felt just like the hanok stays in K-dramas, and I'm glad I got to try it. I'd love to come back to Gyeongju and stay here again.
The courtyard has traditional games and a fish pond, which gave us something to do. Our room was clean and spacious enough for four, and the toilet and shower were separate. Since it’s a Hanok hotel, there’s no furniture to sit on, and you sleep on floor futons. In winter, the ondol heating gets very strong. We had a small problem with the refrigerator door, which wouldn’t shut, so our drinks stayed a bit warm. Shoes go outside the room on the step. For the price, the room size and location worked perfectly for visiting Gyeongju, and I’d stay here again.
