Jijunghae Pension

I stayed at Wow House 1st floor Kenya. It seems like a good pension for taking kids to use the pool, but not really one for couples lol. They gave us loads of towels, which was sweet, and the whirlpool worked fine on the second day, though you can’t adjust its intensity. The barbecue setup was right next to the room, but the meat smell was so strong that I skipped using it lol. Soundproofing was terrible, and we could hear everything, even footsteps from upstairs. Ventilation was awkward too, hard to explain, but you’ll get it if you go. I stayed two nights and basically just slept ㅠ. Since I didn’t use the BBQ, I kept thinking I should’ve paid a little more for a hotel.

We were greeted by a big dog and an adorable cat at the pension. After staying five nights and six days, I’m heading out now. There’s an outdoor pool that’s open from July through October. The BBQ is gas rather than charcoal, and the grill lets you cook meat at least 2 centimeters thick over low heat, turning it and closing the lid. The samgyeopsal came out truly exquisite.

There were plenty of towels, and the owner was kind. We only had to request the barbecue 30 minutes ahead, and they got it ready quickly. The barbecue area was spacious and clean, which was great :)

The heated pool, in-room spa, and private BBQ area were all nice. But I realized I’d left something behind and called maybe thirty minutes to an hour later to come get it. They said other guests were there and they’d check the next day, but they never gave it to me. Lost. Hmm.
