The room looked unfinished, almost like a converted warehouse or staff dorm, and I took photos because I couldn’t believe it was meant to be a hotel room. The bathroom was just as disappointing, with a toilet and sink that looked like they belonged in a public restroom or latrine. Parking was ridiculous. The spaces by the main lobby were reserved for golfers, so hotel guests had to park farther away and walk uphill to the building. That parking area didn’t feel secure to me, either. There are plenty of good hotels around Gyeongju. Unless you have a specific reason to stay here, I strongly recommend choosing another one.

The breakfast buffet was good, with quality food, service, and a nice restaurant view. The 5th-floor room and its cleaning didn’t meet my expectations, though. It badly needs repainting and a detailed carpet cleaning. The hotel is near Bulkuksa temple, but the other main attractions are farther away, about 15-20 minutes by car.

Despite the recent renovation, the hotel still looks very old, and neither the facilities nor the service made much of an impression. It might look nice in photos, but the experience felt completely different. For a hotel rated four stars, this didn’t measure up. The biggest issue was how little was available: there was no functional restaurant, coffee shop, tap room, or cafe. I don’t recommend it.

Service was okay, and so was breakfast. The room was large but dark, with no couch, and the amenities were sparse, not even toothpaste. At 300K Won, it felt like too much. The hotel is quite far from Gyeongju, and I wouldn’t recommend it to foreign travelers.

I spent a week here for a conference. The location is beautiful and just a 10-minute walk from Bulguksa temple. The hotel felt expensive, and while the rooms were okay, they didn’t feel worth what I paid.
