Hotel Prumir

I stayed here for a workshop and found the hotel really nice and fully equipped. The bed was comfortable and firm, and my room had a kettle and hairdryer. There’s an Italian restaurant and convenience store downstairs. The gym and sauna were there too, but unavailable at the time.

The hotel was quiet and clean, with well-organized facilities and lots of comfortable parking. The main draw for me was the historically famous Tomb of King Jeongjo right across from it. In winter, entry to the tomb ends at 4:30, so it’s worth checking in first and heading out for a walk right away. A nice place to unwind for the weekend.

The front desk staff were rude. They scolded us for eating and drinking in the lobby, even though we were just sitting there and hadn’t eaten. If guests aren’t allowed to sit there with food and drinks, put up a notice. Please train your staff to speak to customers properly. Four star hotel? Haha. Even one star feels like too much.

We were here for work as a group, and the hotel was comfortable with a bit of a luxurious feel. The conference rooms worked well for our small meetings. It was a busy weekend, so we had both breakfast and lunch from the buffet. Breakfast felt unusual and not especially memorable from an American point of view, but lunch was amazing. There was far more food than I could try, and everything I did have tasted very good.
