Eurwangni Hana Pension

The room wasn’t good.

We had a lovely birthday family trip at Eulwangni Hana Pension. The place was clean and welcoming, the owner was friendly, and we enjoyed good food and a picnic. I especially liked the morning walk by the beach. I’m planning to come back. Eulwangni Hana Pension is the best! 👍

Since it’s right in front of the beach, I got to take an early morning walk, have a barbecue, and enjoy a campfire. It really gave me that full camping feeling. Hana Pension is just 5 minutes from the sea and seems to offer great value. I’d heard that more people check in on the spot than stay overnight. Around Eulwangri, grilled and steamed shellfish and fried shrimp are part of the experience. People say finding a pension near Eulwangri Beach is really hard. After paying 400,000 won for six people last year for a place advertised as near the beach that wasn’t even close, I’m careful about value. You don’t spend that much time in your accommodation, so I wouldn’t put too much of your travel budget toward lodging.

The GS convenience store right next door was definitely handy. The location itself was great, close to Eulwangni Beach, but the stay was the worst accommodation experience I’ve had. The entrance had no ordinary doorknobs, and the locks were in the wrong places. Inside was a mess beyond what I expected. There were two bathrooms without the usual sinks, which were instead in the living room, supposedly a dry area. The toilets didn’t flush properly. There were two rooms, but I can’t even describe them. Each had an air conditioner, but the living room had no fan. We got one from the management office, but it wouldn’t stay in place, so we had to prop it with a toothpick. We booked for eight people and got only six spoons, six rice bowls, three soup bowls, six water cups, and four towels. Even in peak season, the facilities and amenities were terrible for the price. Maybe that’s why Naver reservations aren’t available and they require direct bank transfers.
