Ganghwa Izba Pension

I only stayed because my parents were with me and someone else had made the booking, so there wasn't really an option to leave. I was very disappointed with the place, and the condition of the room made taking pictures uncomfortable. Other guests' detailed photos give a better idea of how poorly maintained it was. I didn't want to post a review like this, especially since the profile photo had been edited so badly, but I hope this helps other people. I'm being careful with what I say because I'm using my real name, but I still wanted to leave this review. We got there on the 7th around 8 PM, though I can't remember the exact time. There were no signs at the entrance or at the pension, and I couldn't tell whether it was open. After I got out to check and called, an elderly man came out holding a flashlight. He stayed at a distance, asking whether it was Room 103 (?) or what room number we had, and wasn't helpful with directions. The yard and stairs were completely dark, with no lights at all. He just shouted that our room was the next one while pointing the flashlight, even though two elderly people were there. I remember feeling really uncomfortable. I'd booked for three people with one extra person, but before I could explain, he said four people had arrived for a booking of two and brought up an extra charge. I showed him the KakaoTalk reservation message, and he then said he'd charge for just one extra person. I paid 20,000 won in cash, and they gave us two extra towels. There were only three spoons in the sink, the chopsticks didn't fit, and electrical tape was wrapped around the bathroom faucet and shower head... @.@ I couldn't even tell if the room was meant for two or three people. They filled the spa, but there were bugs in the water. The furniture was a complete mess. I visited on the 7th and 8th after seeing my parents.
