We were comfortable in the larger cottage, with a main bed and plenty of floor pads, blankets, and pillows. The small cabin style units sit on the hill behind the beach. The kitchen had a rice cooker, microwave, full-size fridge, hot pot, and hot plate, and the bathroom was spacious with a good shower. The place is showing its age, but that suits the rustic beach setting and it still felt perfectly suitable. We ended up staying overnight at the last minute because we found out the hot springs were closed on Tuesday. Dining was the tricky part: we were there in the off-season, so nearby food options were limited and a bit hard to find. It was handy to have a CU and GS25+ close by, and the nearby coffee shop wasn't bad. At low tide, the beach has no water for more than 100m out.
