A friend recommended this pension because the owner was kind, but I foolishly booked a place with the same name in another area. The weather was bad, and after wrapping up our plans early, we arrived with a trunk full of groceries and realized the mistake. I was really scared. The owner kept calling nearby pensions and, with a lot of effort, quickly found us a room. The pension he recommended was clean, and its owner was kind. The kids were happy, and we got through the family trip safely thanks to him. Thank you so much. I still haven’t stayed at Sky Below Pension, but if its owner is this kind, I think we’d have a good time there. ^^

The room was clean, but it felt stuffy, and my wife especially found the bed uncomfortable. The red curtains and interior were hard to place, and didn’t really feel Chinese-style. I came to Ganghwa Island for one night to enjoy the sunset, but the owner arrived late in the evening and went straight to sleep, which was disappointing. I’d hoped to watch the rolling sea, but low tide left me looking at darkness. It gets dark early on Ganghwado, perhaps because there aren’t streetlights, and since it was a weekday, few restaurants were open and there wasn’t much to do. Good thing I’d brought ramen and snacks from the convenience store.

I didn’t see the manager at all during my one-night stay, from arrival through departure. It left me thinking the manager’s attitude wasn’t very good. Since this wasn’t supposed to be an unmanned hotel, the experience wasn’t great.

They took about five pictures for me, and were so kind. I had a great rest, the room was clean, and I’d like to come back!
