The location is in the middle of a bar district, with what seem to be office buildings around it. Most things nearby look geared toward middle-aged office workers: karaoke (karaoke bar♥️, not the regular kind), card game spots, billiards, PC rooms, and Korean BBQ places open late. We paid ₩40000 a night, so maybe that was about what to expect, but this felt more like a “love motel” than somewhere to stay more than one night. Maybe other rooms are nicer; I can only speak for the one we had. At check-in, my girlfriend and I found nobody at the desk, just a sign telling us to call a Korean number. We had to pay for an international call to get the receptionist to come out. We said we'd booked through ONDA and prepaid, but he still tried to charge extra because it was the weekend. When we objected, he said “write a review” and that he wouldn't charge us. So, here it is. The room was cramped, dingy, and strongly smelled of cigarettes. There was grime everywhere, stains on the floor that might have been blood, and black mold in the bathroom. Looking closer only turned up more. One night a cockroach crawled across the ceiling. We caught it in a water bottle and called it our pet. There were a few upsides: the TV was big and had lots of channels, the soap smelled nice, and the cleaners seemed to do a decent job on the floor and toilet. We also didn't find bed bugs, which was a plus.
