Incheon Airport Capsule Hotel No.1

There's no reception desk. The host sends your room number and door code through the messages tab on Hotels.com, so find that message before you arrive. This is an apartment building where locals live, and rooms can be anywhere in it. The locals couldn't help me. I spent an hour figuring out that a message was waiting somewhere, so check your email and Hotels.com account beforehand. It was a $5 Uber ride from the airport. I was only staying one night.

The hotel felt grim, and the inside looked like a prison. Our room had cockroaches everywhere. I was refunded, and I can't fault the host, who was very helpful about the problem, but I can't sleep in a room with cockroaches.

I chose this place after a late landing, with another flight the next morning. It's very close to the airport, and there's a free shuttle that makes getting there easy. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. I hope to come back :)

The free airport shuttle stop is right across from the apartment building, and the ride to the Terminal 1 departure hall takes just five minutes. There were also plenty of taxis on the street even at 5 a.m. A 7-11 downstairs, plus restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby, made the area very convenient. I stayed one night before an early flight from Incheon Airport, and the apartment suited that perfectly. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a hair dryer, towels, microwave, and bottled water in the fridge. The host gave very clear, detailed directions and check-in and check-out instructions. Read and follow them and the whole process is simple and hassle-free. I'd happily stay again for an early or late flight.
