The pool was apparently under construction. Most of my stay was a list of design choices that looked good but didn’t work. The lights were supposed to use a remote, but only one button worked. For the bathroom light, I had to pull out the room card and put it back in the main switch, and then the light would only stay on for a few minutes. There was a hot plate, but barely any kitchenware: just a hot pot and two cups, not even a spoon. Across the room, only one outlet worked, at the far end. The middle one was on a timer that lasted seconds, and the one tucked into the kitchen furniture didn’t work at all. Water leaked out of the shower and made the otherwise nice floor as slippery as ice. The open public Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable in my room. Staff didn’t speak English, and the translation app they used left a lot to guess at.

I can’t recommend this place. The cleanliness was the worst part: my sheets had a yellow stain, and the towels and pillowcase had holes. The parking was cramped too. The room looked nice but wasn’t very practical. The shower and toilet were only screened off with frosted glass, rather than being in separate rooms from the bedroom. The sink sat in a narrow space, and there seemed to be water damage or something on the wood floor. Other rooms had different designs, so I can’t say how those are. On the plus side, it’s near the stations and there’s plenty of food around.

The room was decent and had cute decor, but it was much too hot, with no thermostat for us to adjust it. In the middle of winter, we had to sleep with the window open. I was also surprised that the front desk didn’t speak English. That was a first for me at a hotel.

The sheets and everything else were clean, but the room looked very worn. The table was covered in scratches and dents, and a painting didn’t do much to hide a hole in the bathroom wall. The online wording made it sound like we were paying the full price there, but it turned out to be less than half. Since the front desk staff had limited English, it was confusing to figure out why we had to pay more. It was an okay stay.

It’s a great place, with a modern design and lovely bathtubs. There was always hot water ready. Getting to Seoul takes about 45 minutes, which is a bit far, but otherwise I really liked it.
