After a long flight, this was a cozy, super quiet place to recover. The room had heated floors, a bidet, charging cords, and complimentary tea, plus a record player, comic books, and a TV. The staff were such sweet people, and MANY restaurants are within 100 meters.

The room itself was fine, but the check-in experience was awful. Expedia said check-in was at 2 p.m., but when we arrived they told us it was 7 p.m., with checkout at 12 p.m. We knew we could pay 50,000₩ per hour for early check-in, but had never seen a 7 p.m. check-in before. We got there at noon because we had nowhere else to go, and I was prepared to pay 100,000₩ just to store our luggage. Before we could even sort that out, the person at the desk spoke very condescendingly. He said check-in was at 7 p.m. and claimed that “hotels in Korea don’t allow people of different sex to stay in the same room.” We'd been in the country about a month, and visit every couple years, and this had never been an issue at any of the many hotels we'd stayed at. He was talking about me, my partner, and her daughter. I don't know what he was implying, but his cold tone rubbed me the wrong way. My partner explained that the girl was her daughter and that we were a family. He scoffed and said she had to PROVE it. Luckily, my partner had a photo of the official birth certificate. She showed him the paperwork, and he finally gave in. We paid 350,000₩ to check in 7 hours early at what I'd never heard of as a hotel with a 7 p.m. check-in. After that, he stayed silent whenever we entered or left, and there was a weird tension. Maybe he resented us staying there or objected to a mixed-race family, but I really don't know what his problem was. Either way, being passive-aggressive and rude to polite customers following the rules and trying to pay for basic service was uncalled for. I'm morbidly curious what's wrong with this person. We won't stay again, and I'd suggest avoiding the place. The entrance was unimpressive, on a side street with no sidewalk, through a small parking garage area. In the room, there was no control for the AC, the window was barred with no view, and the tub and shower were neat but had no half-wall or anything to limit splashing. Amenities weren't included, but could be bought on the first floor for 2,000₩, which wasn't bad. The mini fridge was inside a cabinet and didn't cool much unless the cabinet was left open. With the door open, it blocked quite a bit of the room's already limited floor space. One neat feature was a small closet cabinet that held a handful of garments and dried them. I think it might also UV-sanitize them. All in all, I was supremely underwhelmed.

The service was exceptional. We stayed in the suite, and the room was clean and comfortable. There's also free coffee, tea, and water in the hotel reception area.

There are supermarkets, convenience stores, and places to eat nearby, so getting around the area was easy. I stayed here for Incheon Asiad Stadium and would happily come back. The room had an LG Styler for drying and freshening clothes, plus a phone charger and a big TV with Netflix and other options. Shampoo and body wash were supplied, so bring your own toothbrush. The front desk staff I met didn’t speak Japanese, though that may vary.

Looks recently renovated, and it’s clean. There are massage chairs and a few other things too.
