This place is made up of five buildings, originally called Taeyang Villa, with some used as homes and others as pensions. Each building has four floors, with four rooms on each floor. Three rooms can accommodate eight people and have two bathrooms. All the rooms have beds, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryers. The living room has a wall-mounted air conditioner, TV, and refrigerator, while the kitchen has a two-burner induction cooktop and electric rice cooker. The original cooktop was out of order, so a portable one was provided. The cooking pots and pans in the rooms are in poor shape and really need replacing. The living room is cramped, so you're close to the TV, and there aren't any chairs, leaving you to sit on the floor. On the plus side, every room window has an insect screen, so you can ventilate without running the air conditioner. The rooftop has BBQ facilities, but charcoal costs an extra 10,000 KRW per person and has to be paid for on site. The listing said the BBQ area was private, but in reality it was a shared open rooftop. The sea is nearby, though this is a coastal road rather than a beach for swimming or sightseeing. The actual beaches, Siblipho Beach and Janggyeongri Beach, are 3 to 4 km away. Yeongheung Seafood Market is nearby, which is handy for buying or eating fresh West Sea seafood to have with your BBQ. Our listing said check-in was at 2 PM, but when we arrived they said 3 PM. They also delayed giving us the keys, despite the poor management on their end. There were a lot of differences between what was advertised and what we found, and service quality was extremely low. The rooftop does have a fairly nice ocean view at night, but there were so many other shortcomings that this was the worst value for money.
