Jecheon Case Hotel

The place is stocked with most of what you need, so it worked well as an affordable one-night stay. I booked it while visiting the Jecheon International Oriental Medicine Expo. It's more motel-like than hotel-like and a little dated, though the clean floors made the place feel clean overall. Parking was easy thanks to the large lot across the street, even though only two cars can fit at the entrance. The key caught me off guard at first, but the place was easy to find, tucked in an alley about a block from the main road.

It's a motel, not a hotel, but the service is great and the place is clean. Being close to Jecheon Station is handy. The keyless entry door seems like it could use some updating.

The terrace room had a nice atmosphere, and for that kind of room I didn't think the price was too high. It could be nice to bring wine and spend time on the terrace and in the duplex. There was a large fireplace for winter, and I remember the second floor had its own air conditioning. I couldn't use the snack bar, but there were two cups of rice in the room, which I enjoyed. The layout wasn't quite what I had in mind: it's a duplex, with just a very small bedroom on the first floor. The second floor is terrace-like, though not really what I'd call a terrace. There's a separate duplex where you can go outside to a terrace. In person, the room also felt a little different from the photos.

It's handy having convenience stores, bus stops, and train stations right nearby. Snacks are available in the first-floor lounge. The room is on the small side, but the bathroom has plenty of space.
