Jecheon View Hotel

The quiet surroundings and location close to Jecheon Station make this a good option for travelers. I come here often and plan to keep staying here. It’s very clean and has the basic amenities.

There’s an air purifier in the room, and I especially appreciated that it didn’t smell of cigarettes. Netflix is available, so it’s a nice option for trips to nearby places such as Gangwon-do and Danyang.

The room felt extremely hot even though I'm sensitive to cold, and the air was so dry I had to keep water in my nostrils. I chose a smoking room to get a styler after being told the non-smoking rooms didn't have one. The styler did its job, but my clothes came out smelling of cigarettes, and I even dreamed about smoking. Maybe smokers use the stylers for a reason. There were cup noodles in the lobby, which I could take to my room. I was also told there weren't any good restaurants close by, but I found one featured on "Korean Table" and another mentioned in the newspaper. The food around there was surprisingly good.

Jecheon Station is nearby, with a market and lots of places to eat. The place is clean and has no odor, so I’d recommend it for a business trip. You’ll probably want to book ahead, though.
