Aewol The Sunset Resort

I spent my anniversary at Aewol sunset, and the sunset views were amazing. Our room was big, clean, and nicely decorated. From the coastal street outside, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Aewol cafe street. There’s a huge choice of food, and all the drinks tasted great. Compared with cafes on aewol street, the portions here are bigger and it’s less crowded. Resort guests also get 20% off the cafe menu. The infinity pool is free from 10-8PM, with great privacy and a top-notch view. In the room, there was a pot for making instant noodles and some snacks you could buy. The stay was great, the staff were friendly, and that view deserves 6 stars. I’d compare it with a big resort like Shilla.

The view was stunning, and the staff were very helpful before our trip. The bed and pillows were great too. The underfloor heating made things a little stuffy, but opening the windows to air out the room and hear the waves was lovely. The hot water was hot enough, though it may be a storage system: the last person showering on our first day ran out of hot water. Breakfast at the restaurant starts after 9 am, but the portions are generous. I felt very comfortable here and loved it.
