There are some cute cats around, and the guesthouse itself is peaceful with really friendly people. They can also pick you up from the bus stop if you don't have a car. Definitely recommend it.

Out of the seven guesthouses I tried on my 10-day, 9-night trip around Jeju, this one was my favorite. I liked the quiet first-floor common space, which felt a bit like a cafe and was a nice spot to read and unwind. The owner's cat, one of three cats and a dog, was sweet and affectionate, too. Breakfast was set up in the fridge for guests. The bread came with butter and little portions of strawberry jam and marmalade, which made it much tastier.

Jongdal-ri was a peaceful place to stay, and the owner was kind. Downstairs there's a shared kitchen, plus breakfast things like toast, sandwiches, milk, yogurt, jam, juice, eggs you cook yourself, cup noodles, capsule coffee, and tea. They also have cookware, including wine glasses. I'd be happy to come back if I get the chance.

It was quiet around the place, maybe because it's in a residential area, and the owner was nice. I think it'd suit someone traveling alone. The bathroom was very clean. There were quite a lot of foreign guests. The only nearby convenience store is more like a small supermarket, and it shuts early, so keep that in mind.
