I started out happy with the clean room, decent amenities, and convenient location. That changed after the first day, when I returned to find the room hadn't been cleaned. I only needed extra towels, so I went to the desk. A male staff member was already arguing with another guest about a refund and seemed frustrated. He took it out on me instead of handling my request professionally. I politely asked for towels. He huffed, shook his head, sighed loudly, muttered, and kept speaking to me through a Chinese translator even after I said several times that I didn't understand Chinese. He wouldn't explain anything and just repeated that I “couldn't add towels.” I calmly asked how room cleaning worked, whether I needed to request it or if it happened every other day, but he didn't answer. He slammed two towels on the counter, said “service,” and seemed to be trying to make me leave. I've never been treated so disrespectfully by hotel staff. The rudeness and unprofessional behavior were shocking. I don't care how cheap the rate is, I won't stay here again. No discount is worth being treated with such blatant disrespect.

The location is great, but the staff were rude and seemed to have no idea what hospitality means. I can understand that this may be how locals are, but this is a hotel that serves international guests.

We were four and the two double beds worked well for us. There was a kettle, a fridge and four bottles of mineral water, though only two glasses. When I asked the front desk for two more, they said two was the maximum, which seemed odd. The location was handy, with shops, restaurants and buses nearby. We took the bus from the airport.

The room, bathroom and sheets were all very clean, and the lobby staff were polite. Just be aware this is an older budget hotel, with dated facilities like central air conditioning. The walls are thin too, so we heard loud footsteps in the middle of the night. The location is great.

The beds were hard, but the bathroom was clean, the amenities were good, and the night was quiet. It has a retro 90s hotel feel, whether that was intentional or not. That won't suit everyone, but it could be a nice fit if you're on a budget or enjoy that old fashioned charm. A good base for getting out and exploring Jeju.
