Hotel Leo

Helen, the hotel manager, was very helpful during our 3-night stay. Her tips for driving around Jeju and places to eat were great, especially the food recommendations. The room was clean and warm, with floor heating. It also had an LG styler, kind of like a dry wash machine, which worked well for refreshing clothes we already had and washing new things we bought.

He Len was especially friendly and ready to help whenever we needed something. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well kept. The hotel is also in a handy spot for getting around and checking out the nearby shops. I’d recommend it to people visiting Jeju.

Getting around was easy from here. Chilseong-ro and Dongmun Market are close enough to walk to, and we could wander out and back without much thought. The room had enough space for me and my friends to move around without getting in each other’s way. I also really liked the steam closet, a handy little feature I hadn’t known I needed. Service felt smooth from parking through the front desk. The entrance is tucked into a building corner and easy to miss, but inside there’s a large lobby sculpture, art all around, and a nostalgic old luxury feel. It felt like a place with its own personality, without trying too hard.

The location is good, and the staff were really nice. There’s free parking as well. The room had a bad smell that was still there after I ran the AC, so I suspect it may be coming from a carpet that hasn’t been cleaned since it was installed. The hallway smelled bad too, probably because of its carpet. The decor feels like it’s from the 80-90s, and the shower fixtures have a lot of calcium buildup from hard water.
