Huesik Hotel Sydney

The view was great, the bed was comfortable, and there are lots of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. The staff were kind, too. Housekeeping could be better: they didn't make the bed or wipe down surfaces during our stay, and the bathroom mirror was visibly unclean, perhaps for several stays. There were two pillows, but when we asked for another, they refused. We booked for two adults and got only one set of toothbrushes, shower slippers, and a glass. They also renovated our room in the middle of our stay. You get what you pay for, I guess. Fine for young travelers.

We only stayed one night, so it was bearable, and we slept and left the next morning. We didn't get the room we had booked, and the bathroom door wouldn't close because its lock was faulty. There was a partly used tube of toothpaste in the toilet, and I'm not sure if it was meant for guests or had been left behind. There's a BBQ place just down the street that I'd highly recommend.

The ocean view is great, and the place is pretty neat. There's parking if you've rented a car, but there don't seem to be enough spaces for every room. Overall, it's good.

The staff were kind, the room was clean and nice, and the sheets were clean too. Great ocean view. Four stars out of five.
