The owner made the stay so much better by being kind and helpful. They gave me directions when I asked, and readily let me leave my luggage after checkout, so I could travel without worrying about it. The traditional Korean house was warm, and the interior was very clean. I booked here to visit Bijarim Forest and Darangshi Oreum. Bijarim Forest is only a 5-minute walk away, and Darangshi Oreum is close too, so the location worked really well. If I come to the East Coast again, I'd definitely stay here.

This is a guesthouse with rooms available only for stays of 7 days or more. The owner responds quickly and runs a restaurant right in front, but because the rooms are rented long-term, the bathrooms are a bit dirty. Bijarim is the only nearby place you can walk to. There's not much else around, and downtown Sehwa takes 10-15 minutes by car. Without your own car or a rental, getting around is extremely inconvenient, so definitely look elsewhere if you're without one. The first couple of nights were quiet and nice, but after those two it became very uncomfortable. If you're happy to stay in, cook all three meals, and take walks in Bijarim, and you have your own car, you could give it a try. It's suited to people who just want to stay without a care in the world. For a relaxing trip where you want to explore Jeju Island, I'd spend a little more and find somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend it.
