The place feels very much like Jeju, and it’s nicely decorated and kept up. The owner has thought of little things too, like supplying torches and gloves for the free barbecue. There aren’t extra charges for things like going over the standard four guests, even in a 100-pyeong house. If you want a pension instead of a hotel or resort, I’d recommend it. Just keep in mind it’s quite tucked away: the supermarket is 4 km away, and there aren’t attractions nearby, so going shopping at night isn’t practical.

It’s in a quiet, ordinary rural area. Inside there’s a roomy living space, kitchen, and two bedrooms. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and there’s no toilet in the bathroom itself, which could make things inconvenient when two or more families stay. The owner does mention that guests can use the toilet in the utility room outside if they need to go urgently.

Finding it was easy, and it was spacious and comfortable for the reasonable price. I stayed one night before heading to Biyangdo early the next morning, so the convenient access worked out especially well.

Quiet, fresh air, and a lovely garden. It’s a great place to stay with a dog.
