The reception looked clean and the staff were professional, but I wouldn’t recommend the place. My room was extremely dirty, dark, and dusty. There were unknown splatters on the wallpaper, cupboards, and above the bed frames, as if those spots hadn’t been wiped in years. The old furniture and floors were dented and scratched, and the bathroom sink and taps still had toothpaste and spit marks from previous guests. A strong perfume in the hallway seemed to cover what I can only assume was years of smoke and spills. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, and probably hadn’t been replaced since the hotel was built. I stayed one night, disinfected the surfaces myself, and tried not to touch anything unnecessary. The location is okay on the airport side, though it’s not very central to Jeju City.

For what felt like a five-star hotel, the price was surprisingly reasonable. The room was clean, spacious, fully equipped, and had a very comfortable bed. There’s a sea view and it’s close to Dongmun Night Market. A CU shop is inside the hotel, with other shops easy to get to as well. The bathroom was clean, had a bathtub, and the toilet bowl had a water supply that made cleaning easy. Tourists might find a universal plug useful for charging.

My room had a really nice view, and the location is convenient. There’s a CU inside the hotel, though it closes at 1:00AM, plus a GS right outside and e-Mart market across the street. Lots of cafes are nearby, and the seaside is a short walk away. The room was missing a few amenities I’d usually expect at a hotel. I’m not sure whether that’s typical of a five-star hotel or not.

I had a great experience with guest service at jeju oriental Hotel n casino. As a tourist who can’t speak Korean, I was stressed when my car tyre got punctured. A young gentleman at the concierge desk was incredibly kind and arranged a tow truck for me. His help saved my trip.

The room was gloomy all the time, with weak lighting and a red wall right outside the window. We’d booked two single beds, but they were pushed together because there was no space, so my friend and I ended up sleeping in one double bed. I asked the manager to move us because of the room’s condition, but she said the hotel was full and didn’t seem to make any effort to check. It’s near the airport, but for a similar price there are better choices nearby. I wouldn’t recommend this place to friends, even for the money.
