Pure Stay Ocean

Everyone on staff was really nice.

Being right across from Jeju Airport makes this handy if you've got an early flight or need to return a rental car. You can hear a fair amount of aircraft noise in the room, though, so it may not suit light sleepers. In the early morning, when flights have stopped, it's quieter. The ocean and airport views were better than I expected, and the amenities were fully equipped. For a one-night stop, it worked perfectly, even though the size and facilities feel more like a motel than a hotel. There's an electric scooter rental at the accommodation. It costs 5,000 won an hour, then 1,000 won for each extra 10 minutes. A one-day pass is 20,000 won until 10:00 PM, and a two-day pass is 30,000 won until 10:00 PM the following day.

The ocean view is great, though it's visible from outside. The place feels like an old motel, with outdated facilities. I could faintly hear planes taking off and landing, and the old air conditioner rattled loudly after running for a while.

Watching planes take off and land right in front of the accommodation is a real plus. I expected airport noise, but it didn't seem loud inside the room. Getting around after sunset is a bit difficult without a car since the place is secluded.
