Soofeel House

The room had a great view, good music, and a spotless bedroom. What stood out most was how carefully even little things like the TV and internet cables were arranged. I've stayed in plenty of pricey hotels and budget hostels around Korea, but nowhere else was this clean and organized. I only wish there were separate slippers for the bathroom, since the floor by the sink gets wet when you go back and forth. I'd gladly stay here again on a visit to Jeju Island, beyond just Jongdal-ri.

The garden is beautifully arranged and made the stay feel restorative. The village is lovely to wander through, with accessory, wine, and jewelry shops scattered around where you can browse and pick up things you need. It was peaceful, clean, and quiet here, and I definitely plan to return, this time with another family.

From the café, sipping drip coffee while looking out at the peaceful scenery was so relaxing. The spacious room felt comfortable, and the garden was well kept. Through the windows, the village and sky looked breathtaking.

The café, where we used to share meals and information, didn't feel welcoming this time. The owners seemed more concerned about the property being dirty, and I had to stop myself from asking why they were in hospitality. I used to love this place enough to alternate visits with my parents, but this stay left me so disappointed that I don't think I'll return. The owners had changed. The friendly people who greeted me late with the café and garden lights on were gone, and so was the carefully prepared breakfast. Soopil House no longer made up for the hassle of holding the shower head attached to the sink while waiting a long time for hot water.
