The little kitchenette in the enclosed balcony has a fridge, and there's an oven for reheating food. You can fill bottles with purified water near the café. The room has heating for winter, though we visited in summer and used the AC. The bed was comfortable, the best we've had in this category across South Korea. The bathroom was very clean, with good water flow and shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and body wash. Bring your own toothbrush, and if you want a full-size towel, bring that too, since the towels here are face-towel sized, which is common in Korea. It's quiet, with no nearby buildings. You can walk to the beach, and Uber taxis are easy to get for trips to the beach or elsewhere. The nearest CVS is 700m away, and there's parking for rental cars. The host was very polite and made sure we were comfortable. He doesn't speak English, but used a translator to reply to our questions, which we appreciated since some places don't respond at all. For the low price, we had a very comfortable stay, and I'd recommend it to anyone staying near hyeopjae beach. It has what a couple or family needs for a comfortable visit. One headache was that the business has different names on booking, Uber, Google Maps, and Naver Maps, making it difficult to find the guesthouse or figure out what it's called. I hope the owner will use the same name across all the apps to help foreign visitors. The rooms also aren't very soundproof, so you can hear people in the next room opening and closing doors. There's no elevator, but our room was on the 2nd floor, or 1st floor if you count the floor below as ground, so it wasn't a big deal.
