Aside from the location, this is a great fit for backpackers or people traveling light. It's a really unusual guesthouse style for Korea, and I loved it. The host is super cool, the price is cheap, and the place is cozy with tidy facilities. Highly recommend.

The bed felt a bit firm on my back, but I'd still definitely return. John was a really friendly host and speaks very good English, and the shared bathrooms were amazingly clean.

It's comfortable and clean, with a welcoming host and good value. The location isn't ideal if you want to get to the island's more interesting areas, like the main hiking trail.
