Waystone Seoubong Hotel

The bed was the most comfortable of the four nights I've stayed so far, and the room was roomy and clean. It does show some age, but cleanliness made me happy with it. They left two large towels, two small ones, and a separate foot towel, which I really love. Agoda lists two Seoubong Hotels, Seoubong Hotel and Seoubong Beach Hotel. They're in the same building, but the inception is different!

The rooftop pool was cold, and floating bits in the water made me question how well it was maintained. The hotel was farther from the sea than I'd expected, and at a similar price there are cleaner places closer to the beach. The blankets felt damp, the bathroom had thick yellow grime, and the marble floor was dangerously slippery. I even took photos of the bathroom and of the towels used to wipe the floor. The staff were very unfriendly, and there were no baby safety guards, so it would be inconvenient with a child. The bathtub is inside the room. This isn't a place I'd bring a child.

The buffet breakfast was fantastic, and the reception staff were very helpful. We had a great time during our two days here. Our room was clean, tidy, and stylish. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

For the money, it's good value. The service is average, the room is clean, and the air conditioner works well. The pesticide drains quickly once it's filled. It seems like it might be broken...
