My first time staying in a Hanok, and sleeping on a traditional Korean bed was such a surprise, it was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. I slept incredibly well. We had a wonderful two-night stay, with a nice, comfortable room that had everything we needed. The owner was very friendly, and the location is amazing, right by the entrance to the Hanok village main street. I’d definitely recommend it and come back if I return to Jeonju.

Sleeping on a traditional Korean mattress was quite an experience, and I loved it, though I probably wouldn’t suggest it if you have serious back problems. The bathroom was clean, and the room had its own fridge, free hot and cold water, and free tea. You can lock the room if you want. This was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Korea. The traditional Korean architecture is stunning, and the garden is lovely. It’s central and quiet, at the quieter end of the historical part of town, with everything I wanted to see in Jeoju within walking distance.

The owner was helpful, and the room stayed warm through winter. It’s handy being in Hanok Village, too. The only drawback was that the toilet had no heater, but I still had a good stay.

Just a short walk from the center of jeonju village, the location worked really well. We got there around 1pm and the owner was on hand to welcome us and check us in. There was a little dust in a few spots, though cleanliness was otherwise acceptable. A nice hanok stay overall.
