There are plenty of restaurants and cafes around, and Hanok Village is about a 15-minute walk away. The hotel itself is modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was disappointing across the board: the food, the uninviting dining room, and the lack of live stations that the Accor All app advertised. The Bar, Terrace, and restaurant shown in the photos and listings also weren’t open for lunch or dinner.

Check-in was efficient, and the room had plenty of space. The hotel is right in central Jeonju on a smaller street, with shops and restaurants nearby. I still don’t get why the shower has to flood the whole bathroom. Breakfast didn’t offer much choice, though it was adequate.

The hotel's in a great spot for a walk, with a shopping street right outside and lots of restaurants and convenience stores close by. Getting there, my navigation took me through a bunch of alleys to Sinjungang Market Street, though I later learned the main road works too. Parking was easy, with roomy B1 and B2 levels. TomTom Coffee is on the first floor, and the two elevators take you to the fourth-floor lobby/lounge and mini gym. Our room was on the seventh floor, but one side of the air conditioner looked loose enough to fall off. I told the lobby staff, and they moved us to a room on another floor. The room had a distinctive Jeonju Hanok style, with underfloor heating. It was warm and comfortable, and it was nice not having to wear shoes around the room. The bathroom was another story: there was no curtain or screen, so water splashed everywhere, then pooled on the floor and drained very, very slowly. I started thinking it was turning into a water park. The drain hole must be small. Breakfast is served on the third floor. I’d read that it wasn’t great, so I didn’t expect much, but I thought it was better than that. Jeonju is all about bibimbap, after all. There was bibimbap, bread, salad, spicy pork stir-fry, pizza, and fried items. Simple, but decent and tasty. You do have to clean up after yourself, haha.

Parking was convenient, and we got a welcome drink or coffee. The rooms were nice, though the view was disappointing. The location is great, but the Jeonju International Film Festival had blocked off a lot of areas, so getting around was difficult. Hanok Village may feel a little far on foot, about 15-20 minutes away.
