Awesome.

The breakfast was the highlight for me. The friendly owner made delicious Korean home-style food, and that alone makes Buyongheon worth a visit. I came after winning an event and loved the cozy, quaint feel. Though it's right at the edge of busy Hanok Village, the place itself is wonderfully peaceful. It felt like a perfect hanok stay. Highly recommended!^^
Parking was good, and the area around the guesthouse was quiet and pleasant. The landlady was friendly, and breakfast was decent, but for the price I wasn't very satisfied. The yard is small and pretty, though the room had no windows and felt stuffy. The bathroom, room, and bedding seemed more like a country house than a hanok, and the bathroom and bedding weren't very tidy. I had mistaken the photo of the Confucian school next door for the accommodation itself and expected a large traditional house. In reality, it's a small hanok guesthouse, and it didn't have much of a hanok atmosphere.
The bedding was being finished off with Febreze after it had been cleaned, and I found that upsetting. The owner was extremely unfriendly and complained about everything. They tell lies, and the older staff are very prickly. Is this review written by someone connected to the place? The rating is far too generous. Don't run a lodging business with that kind of attitude. Even one star feels like too much.
The garden is lovely, and the place has a peaceful feel. It's a little farther from the center of Jeonju Hanok Village, so there's a bit more walking. I also had trouble paying by card.
