Jeonju Hotel Neul

It's nice and tidy here, which I liked.

The bed is good, and both the owner and staff are really kind. The room could use a little improvement, though: there are still water stains in the bathroom and shower, the water backs up, and the floor feels sticky.

I can't sleep because water keeps flowing back up when someone uses it in the early morning. I'm on the 3rd floor, but the sound kept waking me, and right now I'm writing this out of anger while listening to it. The cigarette smell is also stinging my nose and making my throat hurt. There's an ashtray in the room, and this seems to be a smoking hotel. As a non-smoker who's sensitive to noise, I regret staying here and worry it will affect my trip tomorrow. I wish I'd chosen a traditional Korean house instead. For smokers who aren't bothered by noise, I could give it 5 stars: it's clean, the facilities look brand new, the air conditioning is neat, the bathroom is spotless, the cleaning is good, and they pay attention to toiletries and other details. But for me, the cigarette smell and the water noise make it impossible to sleep, so I don't recommend it.

On a weekday the price was affordable and the stay was really great. I don't know what weekends cost, but this was the best motel I've stayed at. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely book it. I really liked it.
