There’s a café on the first floor with a distinctly Gyeongseong atmosphere. The hotel has a clear concept, with a classic feel and a small, cozy vibe.

I came across this place while traveling alone and liked being able to enjoy food and drinks at the first-floor tables. It’s near the market, and the owner even brought me complimentary fruit. Thanks!

The room and value for money are really good, and the exterior looks pretty. Since it’s been remodeled, the quality is good and the water pressure is very strong. It’s right across from a convenience store. The soundproofing was surprisingly decent, but getting a Kakao Taxi in the evening is difficult. The cafe hasn’t reopened yet, though it was scheduled to reopen in 2023, so expect no maintenance or services.

It’s a nice spot to take photos, have coffee, and relax without spending the tens of thousands of won that it costs elsewhere. You can try on clothes from the Gaehwa period while enjoying your coffee, and it makes a great photo setting.

The cafe on the first floor has a lovely atmosphere, and the price is reasonable. The hotel feels like an old motel reimagined with a Mr. Sunshine vibe. The surrounding area is a little lacking, and the dated locks might feel intimidating for women. The beds were the main drawback for me, a bit uncomfortable.
