I booked around 1 PM on May 1, then at about 2 AM on May 2 they canceled it without asking, saying the price had been listed incorrectly. I checked again: there had been only one room left, but now there were two, and the price was up by about 30,000 won. Jeonju’s service spirit sure knows how to wake me in the middle of the night. Appreciate it.

The owner seems to have changed, and the room was really dirty. It smelled of cigarettes, and even the robe had someone else’s body odor on it. The floor hadn’t been cleaned, and the shampoo had gone hard. I couldn’t get a refund, so I asked for one. They didn’t ask if I wanted to change rooms, perhaps because they suspected I was only staying for 40 minutes and then asking for a refund. Instead, they suspected me of being a guest. The service, friendliness, and cleanliness were all unsatisfactory.

In Ajung-ri, Jeonju, this is a great-value place to stay. They’re very focused on COVID-19 safety, the staff are friendly, and the accommodation is comfortable. I love it.
8/10
It’s neat, and there are different things to enjoy, like comics and movies. The towels are the one downside: they’re so old and crunchy, like fried food.

I picked this place for a business trip and found it clean. It was great to have a brand new water purifier in the room.
