Jinju Hotel The V

The location's good, but the room is pretty hardcore ^^;; The cigarette smell is really strong. Also, the bathroom is kind of visible because of the layout, so take that into account before booking... ㅠㅜ

The hot water here was even better than at the 20-story hotel in Gwangalli, Busan, where we stayed the night before. My mother and I shared a double room, and the mattress felt just right. She especially liked how comfortably she slept with the electric blanket. We also had a bathtub and whirlpool. The hotel is between a couple of handy spots: Jinju Central Market is one block to the right of the main entrance, and Chokseongnu is one block to the left. That made it easy to get breakfast at Cheonhwang Restaurant. Parking is at the Daeheung gas station across from the hotel, and you can get a free voucher to leave the car there for 24 hours. They also offer beer and snacks in the room, so it felt like good value. I found the place while looking for somewhere to stay for the night, and I'd book it again if I come back to Jinju.

The windows don't open, which was a little disappointing. Otherwise, it's clean and has what you need. It's right by the central market, and Jinjuseong is close enough to walk to.

I opened my room door and found another couple already inside. I can only imagine how awkward that was for them. The person at the counter asked what was wrong and offered to upgrade my room, but I was too upset, got angry, and left. Thanks for an experience I hope I never have again.
