The beach is just a five-minute walk away, so I could go early, play in the water, then come back to wash up before heading out again. The room is roomy, and having the toilet and bathroom separate with the sink between them works well when several people need to get ready. The basic facilities are all old, though.

Songjeong Beach is close, which is handy for water activities. The facilities are somewhat dated, but in the off-season I thought the price was good value.

I spent my time walking: Songjeong Beach, Mijo Port, Sangju Silver Sand Beach, Seolli Skywalk, and the two pebble beaches at Cheonha and Chojeon were all on my route. It wasn’t a short walk, but the scenery made it feel manageable, and the quiet surroundings were a bonus. That made the accommodation’s location seem quite reasonable to me. Since I visited in the off-season, I was able to get a better room. The man working at check-in was very kind and gave detailed answers when I asked a few questions. The beach is very close, though there aren’t nearby conveniences such as a convenience store, which is about a 15-minute walk away. It’s a quiet neighborhood for that reason. The pillow was much too high for me, and I thought the soundproofing was weak, though neither bothered me at all.

The building itself is old, and the rooms are dated too. Being close to Songjeong Beach is the good part, but my room was full of cigarette smell. There weren’t even drinks like water in the fridge.
