Guesthouse Dalggume

It felt like being in my own room. The space was just right for me, and it was really clean and comfortable.

I got a good rest at Wondusim. The location is handy, near the Museum of Modern History, and you can walk to Mt. Yudalsan and Mokpo Station. I'd suggest asking for a room near the kitchen.

The rooftop is huge, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the sun on a nice day. The building is a modern, newly built three-story guesthouse, with the owner living on the first floor. There are six rooms, three each on the second and third floors. Rooms on the second floor have their own bathrooms, while the third-floor rooms share two bathrooms and have access to the rooftop. It's within walking distance of Mokpo Station, Nojeokbong Peak, and Korombang Bakery. Room layouts and sizes vary a little, so ask carefully about the room before booking. Calling directly may be best instead of using a booking website. Breakfast costs 5,000 won and is homemade Korean food. The intelligent, middle-aged owner can give a thorough explanation of Mokpo's history and attractions, so feel free to ask questions.

Breakfast was delicious, at an extra 5,000 won per person, and I was happy with everything. I stayed in Room 203, a pretty, clean room with its own bathroom. The house seemed to have been built with a lot of care. Dalkkume Accommodation is close to the entrance of Yudalsan Mountain and Mokpo Station, and you can see Mokpo on foot. Since it's a new house, there's still a slight new-house smell. I was grateful they lent me an umbrella when it rained.
