It’s a convenient place to stay if you’re heading to the Korean DMZ or the border village. Just be aware that vegetarian and vegan food isn’t very common in Korea, so finding those options can be a bit difficult.

Mr Yoon made me feel safe and welcome as a young woman traveling alone. He helped me get to the accommodation safely and drove me to the DMZ for the tour. The place was clean, and the experience felt authentic. If you’re interested in putting together your own DMZ visit and want to be treated like family, I’d recommend staying here.

We paid about £9 for the tickets, and the host helped us book them after driving us to the DMZ. He was great to talk to and shared a lot of useful information. Staying here worked out much cheaper than booking a tour from Seoul.

The host fed us and drove us in the morning, and he was so easy to talk to that we felt welcome right away. Going with a tour group from Seoul would have cost us 50,000 Wong more. The whole experience was overwhelmingly positive. Pic included, ha.
