West Hill Hotel

Good.

The windows were huge, so the room aired out quickly, and the view was great. It was quiet too, and I was satisfied overall. The bed and bedding were very clean, though the bathtub was dirty, the shower was broken, and there was a cigarette smell.

The staff member was incredibly kind, but the location made me uneasy. It’s far out in the mountains, and the isolated setting felt scary. My sister and I woke up startled when someone tried to open the door while we were sleeping, and I couldn’t rest well afterward. I don’t know whether we’d been given the wrong room, but being so far from anywhere made the incident feel even more frightening.

It’s peaceful, and the bedding was clean and nice, so it could suit someone looking for quiet. The place is fairly secluded, though, so bring your own necessities. There’s also very little soundproofing.
