There were plenty of parking spaces, the room heated really well, and breakfast was good. The hotel was full of kids because it has a kids’ cafe and pool, which wasn’t an issue for me. What was frustrating was that there was no hot water at the bathroom sink, shower, or tub. The front desk told us to turn on all the hot water faucets and wait an hour. That was such a waste. The noodle bar also gets crowded, with people stopping right at the beginning because everyone wants noodles. Management could consider moving it to the end.

We booked a Deluxe Family Room for four. The room rate itself seemed reasonable, but the stay was poor value for money. The room was too warm even with the heat off, the air conditioning didn’t work, and loud music from the speakers started around 7 a.m. and woke everyone up. The room was set to “Do Not Disturb,” which meant we couldn’t request housekeeping, and the safe was unusable because it had no batteries. We had prepaid for breakfast for two, but it wasn’t available and we were charged for four. The “rich” continental breakfast was disappointing, with very limited options and no ham, jam, or cereals, despite costing about 20 USD per adult. The bathroom had no window or ventilation system. The “large” bed was only about 180 cm wide, much too narrow for two adults and a child. As another reviewer said, almost everything costs extra. Two stars, and only because the room rate was acceptable.

The food wasn’t good, and there are barely any other places to eat nearby, so people mostly end up with convenience store food. The place also feels very old and smelly, and the rooms look as if they haven’t been maintained since the 1980s. The pricing is just too much. We paid extra for blankets, towels, the swimming pool, sauna, and kids cafe. It feels like you have to pay for everything, so what’s the point of having facilities? Blankets were 20 dollars per night, the pool was 50 dollars, and using the tents outside for a BBQ cost 200 dollars. It’s not a cheap place, and I wouldn’t call it a five-star hotel. Probably one of the worst “5star” hotels in Korea.
