We booked the Sky Suite Family because my father-in-law lives in pyeongchang and stayed with us. The room was quite spacious, and it had the biggest TV I've ever seen in a hotel. Beyond that, I didn't have much good to say. My wife and I slept in an open area beside the living room, with no wall, door, or even curtain for privacy. The bathroom still had hair from previous guests, and although there were three adults, we weren't given enough towels. We had to call every day for more just to dry off after showering. We visited in mid-autumn, outside ski season, and a lot of outdoor attractions weren't open every day, throwing off some of our plans. At the aquatic centre, nearly the whole outdoor area was closed, including all the slides. I wouldn't return: the rooms were dirty, you have to arrange towels with staff before showering, and many amenities aren't open.

The online check-in was great, and the staff were very friendly. We had a spacious, comfortable Family Room at Phoenix Resort. The lobby where you check in was noisy, cold, and dated, though, especially beside the much nicer hotel lobby next door.

The ski slopes are right outside, and it seems convenient if you don't drive. I rented a car and stayed at the base of the mountain instead. I didn't stay here, so I can't say much about it. Check out my videos if you want to see what the slopes are like.

I had a lovely holiday at Phoenix Pyeongchang Resort. The rooms were comfortable, the service made me feel welcome, and the location was convenient. I also enjoyed getting into Snow Park. 🤩🥳✨

The front desk staff were kind and friendly, and some could understand basic English. The skiing was a great experience, but we don't think we'd return to the resort. Our first room smelled bad, so we asked to move. The cleaning also needed work: there was hair on the floor, towel, and pillow, stains on the cushions, crumbs, and other signs the room hadn't been fully cleaned. While we were resting, a room service staff member came into the room to take a cushion, which startled us since we were already there.
